The Kinosuke Festival is an annual tradition in the town of Oku, in Setouchi city.
People come to the city center (now the Setouchi Library) and commemorate the life and work of the town’s most famous marionette performer.
Locals drop by and enjoy matsuri food and marionette performances done by volunteers.
