I woke up early on Sunday morning and headed off to the market at Kyōbashi.
At the early hour of 5:30, with rain falling, there were already many people gathered in the gloom.
Although I still hadn’t woken up completely when I went, I felt energised by the vitality that the event was overflowing with.
With such treats available as delicious bread, cake, and coffee, traditional Japanese miso, fresh Okayama vegetables and seafood, skewered chicken, and pickles, my appetite which had been taken away by the summer heat came back all at once.
For those lethargic Sundays where you lack motivation, I recommend the vigour of the Kyōbashi Morning Market.
